OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Our school is committed to provide each student with meaningful experiences through a challenging curriculum and high expectations in a clean, safe and orderly environment, encouraging responsibility and good citizenship.
Nuestra escuela esta dedicada a dotar a cada alumno con experiencias significativas, a través de un currículum eficaz y con altas expectativas para todos, en un ambiente limpio, seguro y ordenado, ayudándolos a ser responsables y buenos ciudadanos.

Parents,

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year. At Roosevelt, we are excited about the possibilities that the new school year brings. We have four new teachers this year who add a lot of experience and enthusiasm to our school. We also look forward to adding many parents volunteers to our campus throughtout the school day. If you are interested in becoming a parent volunteer, please see our office staff.

The recent posting of the CST results demonstrated academic progress for Roosevelt Elementary. Our API score increased by 42 points and we made AYP through Safe Harbor, which freezes our PI status at year 4.

Back to School Night was held Thursday, September 24, 2009. Parent attendance was greatly appreciated at this event. Roosevelt is excited about working with parents as we plan and implement a variety of programs aimed at increasing student learning.

A Computer class for parents is available in Room 2 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Class hours are from 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
